The continuous increase of automobiles and the significant technological growth in the sector of Automotive Engineering is producting a strong demand for well-qualified Diploma graduates with specific expertise in various aspects of automotive engineering. The Automobile Engineering (2 Years, Diploma) programme of study gives the opportunity to the students to gain a deep understanding of the Automobile Engineering discipline while forming a bridge of knowledge with the other engineering disciplines in the field. The course focuses on the important issues related to the automobile technology such as ICE, propulsion systems, vehicle dynamics and control, braking systems, automotive electronics, body and safety.

ENTRY REQUIRMENTS

  • Secondary School Leaving Certificate / or

    2 A Levels & 5 O Levels.

    Global College offers its students, who have successfully completed the Diploma in Automotive Engineering or the Diploma in Computer Studies, the opportunity to further their education at a university level leading to a Bachelor's Degree. This opportunity is due to an arrangement signed between Global College on the one hand and The University of Wolverhampton on the other.

    The Mechanical Engineering is course intends to produce highly qualified Technician Mechanical Engineers for employment in either the private or public sectors. The development of this course arises from the need to implement a technology training/adaptation approach rather than a technology development. This new approach will generate technicians who will be able to adapt to the continuous technological developments of the field, thus making them more competitive. The students of this course will be able to apply fundamental engineering laws and develop essential skills. The course focuses on the important issues related to the needs of the Cypriot ''Mechanical Engineering Market'' such as building services an manufacturing systems safety. The programme finally provides an excellent career preparation while laying sound foundations for students to continue their studies towards a higher degree.

  • Details of the agreement between Global College and Wolverhampton University

    Students who have successfully completed the Certificate Programme in Automotive Engineering or Computer Studies will be able to progress to level I of undergraduate degree programmes in the Faculty of Engineering second semester and the Wolverhampton University.

    Admission to the University of Wolverhampton

  • All students wishing to proceed to the University of Wolverhampton will be required to possess a recognized English Language qualification such as IGCSE ''O'' Grade A-C, IELTS band 6.0,TOEFL 570,GCE ''O'' Level A-C or have passed the Foundation Language Programme at Global College.
  • All students must apply in the normal way through the University's and college's Admissions offices to receive an offer of a place.
